The board is voting on a proposed property tax rate of $1.088446, which the district’s own agenda explicitly calls a “1.91 percent increase in tax rate.” Part of this increase will fund debt service costs for the sale of $2 million in construction bonds. This action will directly raise property tax bills for homeowners and businesses in Crawford ISD.
