Celina ISD is holding a public hearing to renew its ‘District of Innovation’ plan. These plans allow the district to exempt itself from key state laws, such as teacher certification requirements, class size limits, and the uniform school start date.

ATTEND THE HEARING: This is the public’s chance to speak on the ‘District of Innovation’ renewal. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask: ‘Please publish the full DOI renewal plan online before the hearing so parents can see which state laws the district wants to be exempt from.’
