The Board plans to enter a private ‘Executive Session’ to discuss and set the Superintendent’s performance goals for the upcoming school year. This prevents parents from knowing what priorities—whether academic or ideological—are being used to measure the district leader’s success and removes public accountability.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Glastonbury Board of Education (see the Official Agenda link for contact info). ‘The Superintendent’s performance goals set the direction for our entire district and must be discussed in public, not in a private Executive Session. We demand transparency and the right to observe the discussion on Item 3.B.’
