The district is presenting new Health and Physical Education curriculum for adoption under Policy IDBA. These materials, reviewed by a ‘Community Health Education Advisory Committee’ (CHEAC), are often a vehicle for introducing sensitive topics like Comprehensive Sex Ed without full parental transparency.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Gwinnett County Board of Education (see district website for emails) before the September 24th meeting: ‘Regarding Item 2.1, I demand all proposed Health and P.E. curriculum materials be posted online for public review immediately. Who serves on the CHEAC committee that approved these materials?’
