Taxpayer Alert: District Pushing Undisclosed Referendum
📅 October 21, 2026
The district is holding a ‘Referendum Information Community Session’ to build support for a new request for taxpayer money. The agenda gives no details about what this money will be spent on, making it impossible for parents to know if it’s for academics or for ideological programs.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & ASK: This is the district’s sales pitch for a new tax increase. Parents must attend the ‘Referendum Information Community Session’ on Wednesday, October 21st, from 4:30-6:30 PM at Stormonth Elementary to ask the board directly: ‘What exactly will this money be spent on? Provide a line-item budget for all proposed projects. Will any of these funds be used for DEI, SEL, or other non-academic initiatives?’
