Proactive Library Book Review Policy

📅 October 26, 2026

The board is publicly reviewing library books before they are purchased. This is a positive step towards transparency and parental involvement, ensuring materials are age-appropriate and align with community values before they reach school shelves.

How to Lock It In

Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) to thank the Board for proactively reviewing library books under Item 5.D.1. This transparency protects students and respects parental rights, and should be a model for other districts.

✅ Why It Matters: Increased Transparency
