Consultant-Led Superintendent Search

📅 October 28, 2026

The board is receiving an update on its superintendent search, guided by a consultant from Region 14 ESC. This is a critical process where an outside consultant can heavily influence the selection of the district’s next leader, potentially prioritizing candidates who favor controversial educational theories over academic excellence and taxpayer value.

Response

DEMAND THE DETAILS: Contact the Wylie ISD Board of Trustees via the district website. ‘Regarding Item 3, what are the specific, non-negotiable qualifications and leadership philosophies you have given the search firm? The community expects a superintendent focused on academic achievement and fiscal discipline, not ideological agendas.’
