Vague ‘EISO’ Board Training Workshop
📅 October 26, 2026
The board is holding a workshop for ‘EISO Training.’ This acronym, which stands for Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes, is part of a state governance model, but the agenda provides no details on the trainer, the cost to taxpayers, or the specific materials being presented. Vague training sessions can sometimes introduce outside ideological agendas or lead to expensive, ongoing consultant contracts.
Response

DEMAND THE DETAILS: Contact the Granbury ISD board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info). ‘Regarding Item 4, the EISO Training workshop, please disclose the name of the training provider, the total cost to the district, and provide public access to all training materials before the session.’
