The CFBISD Board and the Carrollton City Council are meeting to discuss their ‘Legislative Priorities.’ This is often code for planning how to use taxpayer money and government staff time to lobby the state legislature, frequently for policies that increase taxes or oppose taxpayer protections.

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the CFBISD Board of Trustees. Ask them to publicly post their full list of ‘Legislative Priorities’ discussed in Item 7.A before any resources are spent lobbying, and to affirm they will not lobby against property tax relief or parental rights.
