Vague Agenda Hides Unknown ‘Presentation/Discussion’
📅 November 9, 2026
The Academic Advisory Committee agenda lists ‘Presentation/Discussion’ as Item 4 with no topic specified. This lack of transparency prevents parents from knowing what new academic policies or programs are being considered before the committee discusses them.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email Alma DeMarco at alma.demarco@palmbeachschools.org, assistant to the Chief Academic Officer: ‘Regarding the Academic Advisory Committee meeting on Nov. 9, what is the specific topic of the ‘Presentation/Discussion’ listed as Item 4? Agendas must be transparent so parents can provide meaningful input.’
