Board to Discuss Administrator Contract in Secret Session

The Board is proposing to move the discussion of a new three-year contract for all district administrators into a closed-door ‘Executive Session’. This prevents parents and taxpayers from hearing the debate or knowing the terms of the contract before a potential vote, shutting down public oversight on a major financial commitment.
Recommended Action Plan

Contact the Board of Education (see the Official Agenda link for contact information) and attend the meeting. Demand that the discussion for Item 2.A, the Bloomfield Administrators Association Contract, be held in public session. ‘Taxpayers have a right to know what is in this contract before you vote on it.’
