ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Board to Discuss Undisclosed ‘Student Matter’ in Secret Session
📅 October 23, 2026
The Athens Grafton School Board plans to enter a closed-door ‘Executive Session’ to discuss a vague ‘Student Matter.’ This lack of transparency prevents parents from knowing if sensitive issues, such as student discipline or gender identity, are being decided without public oversight.
Recommended Action Plan

Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand clarification on Item 4a before the meeting. Ask: ‘What is the specific, legally-permissible reason for discussing this ‘Student Matter’ in a closed Executive Session? Parents deserve transparency on the topics you discuss behind closed doors.’

💰 Impact: Lack of Transparency
