Vague ‘Team of 8 Training’ Lacks Transparency

📅 October 28, 2026

The school board is holding a ‘Team of 8 Training’ but has not disclosed the training provider, the topics to be covered, or the cost to taxpayers. This lack of transparency makes it impossible for the public to know if their money is being spent on training from taxpayer-funded lobbying groups like the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) or on controversial ideological subjects.

Response

DEMAND THE DETAILS: Contact the Waskom ISD administration (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) and ask: ‘Please provide the public with the training materials, the name of the training provider, and the full cost of the ‘Team of 8 Training’ scheduled for October 28th before the meeting occurs.’

💰 Impact: Undisclosed Training Costs
