NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Board to Vote on Secret School Safety Plans
📅 October 26, 2026
The Board will discuss and then vote to approve new ‘safety plans for all District schools’ after discussing them in a closed session, hidden from public view. Parents have no way to review these plans or provide input before the vote, leaving them in the dark about the policies that will affect their children’s safety at school.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand the Board of Education postpone the vote on Item 6.A. ‘Parents have a right to review the school safety plans you are voting on. Postpone the vote until the non-confidential portions of these plans are made public for parental review and comment.’
