New Sex-Ed Curriculum Draft Hidden from Public Review

The district is fast-tracking a new “Human Growth & Development” (sex-ed) curriculum for approval by early October. An ‘advisory’ committee is reviewing the draft in a meeting where the public can only observe, not speak, and the actual curriculum documents have not been made public.

DEMAND TO SEE THE CURRICULUM: This curriculum is on a fast track for a final vote on Oct 6. Email Curtis Bartlett at cbartlett@neenah.k12.wi.us and Jackie Muñoz-Ellmann at jmunozellmann@neenah.k12.wi.us: ‘Parents demand the immediate public release of the full draft Human Growth & Development curriculum and all associated instructional materials before any further committee review or board action.’
