ALERT (LEVEL 4)
District to Create ‘Student Voice’ Group
📅 October 23, 2026
The Communications & Engagement Committee is discussing the creation of a ‘Student Voice’ group and its selection process. These groups can be used to promote student activism and push ideological agendas, bypassing parental input on sensitive school policies.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: This is a committee meeting, the perfect place to ask questions before a policy is fully formed. Contact the Board (see the Official Agenda link for details) and ask: ‘Regarding Item 7.1, Student Voice, what is the purpose of this group? Who selects the students, and what topics will they be advising the district on? Will parents have oversight of this group’s recommendations?’
