Major Win (LEVEL 8)
District Data Confirms: 1,340 Students Flee Using School Choice Vouchers
📅 October 26, 2026
The district’s own enrollment report reveals a massive exodus of students due to school choice. The data, presented in Item IV, shows 1,340 resident students are now using Iowa’s Education Savings Account (ESA) program to attend private schools, a 115% increase from the previous year. This is official confirmation that when parents are given a choice, they are using it to find better educational options for their children.
How to Lock It In

AMPLIFY THIS WIN: Attend the workshop to thank the board for transparently presenting the data in Item IV. Highlight that their own report shows 1,340 students have used ESAs to leave the district, proving parents want educational freedom. Use this official data to show legislators that school choice is a winning issue that must be protected and expanded.
