Heads up! We have scanned the upcoming agenda for Whitefish Bay School District. We found 2 items that need your immediate attention before the vote.
| HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8) |
|
Severe Restrictions on Public Comment
The board is limiting total public comment time to only 15 minutes for the entire meeting, with a 2-minute limit per person. This policy effectively silences parents and prevents the board from hearing the community’s concerns on important issues.
Recommended Action Plan
DEFEND YOUR RIGHT TO SPEAK: Email Board President Kristin Bencik-Boudreau ( Kristin.bencik@wfbschools.com) and Vice President Lynn Raines ( Lynn.raines@wfbschools.com). Demand they change this restrictive policy: ‘A 15-minute total time limit for public comment under Item 3.A is unacceptable. We demand you remove this arbitrary cap and respect the community’s right to be heard by the board they elected.’
π° Impact: Your Right to Speak

| NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7) |
|
Vague Facilities Referendum on Nov. 3rd Ballot
The district is providing its 39th ‘update’ on a massive facilities plan that will go to a public referendum vote on November 3, 2026. Parents need to know if this plan funds necessary academic and safety upgrades or if it includes ideological projects like ‘wellness centers’ or other controversial facilities hidden in the fine print.
Recommended Action Plan
DEMAND DETAILS BEFORE THE VOTE: The referendum is on the ballot November 3rd. Email Board President Kristin Bencik-Boudreau at Kristin.bencik@wfbschools.com and ask: ‘Regarding Item 2.A, before the November 3rd vote, please provide a detailed, line-item breakdown of all projects included in the facilities referendum. We need to know exactly what we are voting for.’
π° Impact: Undisclosed Tax Increase
