Vague ‘Strategic Planning’ Could Hide Ideological Agenda

📅 October 22, 2026

The board is holding a ‘Strategic Planning Discussion’ with no public documents explaining what this means. This is a common tactic to introduce controversial programs like ‘Social Emotional Learning’ (SEL) or ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ (DEI) into the district’s long-term goals before parents are aware.

Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email Superintendent Necole Ast at nast@woodridge.k12.oh.us: ‘Regarding Item 3.A, the ‘Strategic Planning Discussion,’ what specific frameworks, consultants, and goals will be discussed? Parents have a right to know the substance of any strategic plan before the Board dedicates time to it.’

💰 Impact: Undisclosed Ideological Framework
