WARNING (LEVEL 7)

Blank Agenda Prevents Public Oversight

📅 October 27, 2026

The district has posted an agenda for a ‘Special Board Workshop’ that lists no specific items for discussion or action. This lack of detail prevents parents and taxpayers from knowing what will be discussed, effectively shutting them out of the policy-making process.

Response

Contact the Del Valle ISD Board of Trustees (see the Official Agenda link for contact info): ‘Please post a detailed agenda for the October 27 Special Board Workshop. A blank agenda prevents the public from providing meaningful input on the issues you will be discussing.’

💰 Impact: Reduced Public Oversight
