WATCH (LEVEL 4)
First Step Towards Potential New School Bond or Debt
📅 November 6, 2026
The board is scheduling a facility tour to identify ‘possible projects or other needs.’ This is often the first step in building the justification for a large bond package or issuing debt without voter approval.
Response

MONITOR & ENGAGE: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask for the Board of Trustees’ contact information. Email them: ‘Regarding the facility walk-through in Item 3, I urge you to prioritize maintenance over new construction and to commit now that any significant projects will be funded through a voter-approved bond, not Certificates of Obligation.’
