The school board is holding a special meeting to reverse its own vote from August 20th and adopt a higher property tax rate. After a previous attempt failed, the administration is pressuring the board to approve taking more money than the minimum required to pay its debts, a move that would cost taxpayers an additional $2.2 million.

SHOW UP & SPEAK UP: Attend the Special Called Meeting on August 31st. Urge the board to reject this tax hike do-over and stick with the lower rate they already adopted. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and tell them: ‘Hold the line on taxes. Vote NO on rescinding the August 20th tax rate.’
