⚠️ Warning (LEVEL 8)
District to Adopt 2026 Property Tax Rate
đź“… September 14, 2026
The board will vote on a proposed property tax rate of $0.92620. While this rate is slightly lower than last year’s, rising property values could still mean a tax increase for homeowners. The district has not clearly stated how this rate compares to the no-new-revenue rate, which is the rate that would collect the same amount of money as last year.
Response

ATTEND THE PUBLIC HEARING: Show up on September 14th at 6:30 PM. During the Public Hearing (Item 1), demand the board state the ‘no-new-revenue’ rate before they vote on the proposed tax rate in Item 4.b. Ask them: ‘Will the total tax levy—the total dollars collected from all taxpayers—increase under this new rate?’

đź’° Impact: Higher Property Taxes
