The Chief Financial Officer and the Director of Federal Programs are asking the board to approve their requests for outside employment during the 2026-2027 school year. This raises conflict of interest and conflict of commitment concerns, as taxpayers are paying them to be fully dedicated to their roles at Southside ISD.

DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY: Contact the Board (see the Official Agenda link) before the meeting. Ask them to vote NO on Items VIII.A and VIII.B. ‘The district’s top executives should be focused full-time on their duties to Southside ISD taxpayers, not on outside consulting jobs.’
